Too many of us shut ourselves off from our feelings, we don’t explore them, we don’t understand them, we don’t understand ourselves. (Richard Widmark as Dr. George A. Harris, Coma 1978) I am so embarrassed. (Geneviève Bujold as Dr. Susan Wheeler) No don’t be, don’t be, our emotions are what make us human. (Dr. Harris)
Much to the dismay of my husband, children, mother and sister the original Coma movie from way back in 1978 is my favorite all time movie. Oh so many reasons why but I will not get into now. I’ve been thinking more about the part when Dr. Harris is talking about feelings, emotions and being human since my father recently passed away. Well I had to find that part so I could take dictation and write about it.
Everyone has differences that make them unique. During the grief of loosing a dear loved one each of us is still very unique in how we deal with this even between those who happen to share dna and past experiences with.
