Crafty Lady
I canceled out the paper.
I stopped the milkman too.
I fired my trusty gardner.
My own hair now I do.
The only thing I buy now,
each time the eagle flys,
are the necessary groceries
and a ton of craft supplies.

Please Note: The above is one of my maternal grandmother’s original writings. I still have a photocopy of it which I keep in the photo album I received from her when I was a young child. This one she did title. Grandma was a very talented, frugal and crafty lady! I do really like this one, it is so fun and retro.
